Sophie Says is helping children bypass harmful stereotypes before they set in by making life’s most important lessons fun to learn. Their mission is to enable all children to grow up feeling equipped and empowered to face their futures. To learn more about themselves, others and the world around them. We are helping parents/carers and teachers to teach their children positive messages around positive mental health, resilience and self-esteem and providing a toolkit to navigate some of the trickier conversations.
Sophie Says also produces a beautiful range of children’s books helping children learn the most important lessons in life in a fun way. We are so proud to work with Sophie Says and help you bring resilience into your class.
Heads Up Kids is a universal social and emotional wellbeing programme. Written by Andy Hugh and Claire Godley, the overall aim is to create a shared emotional language in the classroom. In a classroom where children have the words to express their feelings and feel confident to do so, those children will be more resilient, more able to solve problems, they will have more empathy for others and be better able to work collaboratively.
Sophie Says has partnered up with Heads Up Kids on these lesson plans below.
