Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s biggest anti-racism education charity, relying entirely on donations to carry out our work. They utilise the high-profile status of football and other sports, to help tackle racism in society.

The majority of the campaign’s work involves the delivery of educational workshops to young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events held in football stadiums. Across the UK, SRtRC provides educational sessions to more than 50,000 individuals per year.

This lesson plan is useful for exploring the world of gaming which can be a very significant part of many people’s lives. Young people can consider the impact that racism has on those who are targeted and explore how they can be part of influencing and promoting positive change on these platforms. To access the full interactive lesson plan, you need to create a free account here.

You can access more of their anti-racism resources for free on their online education portal.
